15 Steps to Quit Smoking!

Hello Everyone! Xin Chào Mọi Người!

Update on missionary work: This last week we introduced the 15 Step Stop Smoking Program to our investigator Anh Dũng. The 15 steps are meant to be followed for seven days, and as far as we know, he is doing really well right now! We also got a new investigator (he was actually a former investigator that became a new investigator again). His name is Anh Quang. We will hopefully be focusing with him on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and really about faith. We also helped another former investigator, Anh Việt, move to another apartment, so that was great to do some service!

Lessons learned from missionary work: Today I would like to share some really important insights into repentance and partaking of the sacrament. When we partake of the sacrament every week, we aren't only thinking about Jesus Christ and His atonement when we partake of the bread and water. We are also remembering to always have His spirit to be with us. Preparing to take the sacrament is very important. As we repent daily, we truly prepare ourselves to partake of the sacrament, renew the covenant we made at baptism, and always remember to have His Spirit to be with us. Repentance is truly a gift, and as we repent daily we will become more like the Savior.

I hope you all have a great week!

Love,
Elder Justin Ly (Anh Cả Dũng)
